Something fabulous happened today.  Something that takes my child another step closer to a more care free life.  Just as important, it takes many, many more T1 children in the UK a step nearer that care free life too.

Animas have announced their license to supply Dexcom G4 and Dexcom Platinum CGM sensors for children aged 2 – 18.  Full details will be available from tomorrow after their official press launch.  This is such exciting news.  Up until now, it hasn’t been a straightforward business to purchase Dexcom for paediatric use.  This license is a massive game changer as it opens up the possibility of CGM for many more families with many more children, like Pumplette, being able to experience the power and liberation that comes with the full blood glucose picture that cgm can provide.
